Help us improve Slough Town Centre

Published: 19 November 2018

Slough Borough Council wants to hear your views on improving Slough Town Centre.

The council is asking all residents who live in and around Slough Town Centre about how they currently use the area, what they like and what they’d like to see changed or improved.

The survey seeks people’s views on a number of different topics, including the current shopping offer, car parking, accessibility, cleanliness, safety and security.

Residents can fill in a paper copy of the survey that has been posted to them directly, or complete it online at

Face-to-face drop in events will also be held at The Curve, William Street, Slough, SL1 1XY on:
• Wednesday 21 November, 9am-1pm
• Thursday 22 November, 4-7pm
• Saturday 24 November, 10am-1pm

If people would like to discuss the survey in further detail they can contact the Town Centre hotline on 01753 875413. Lines will be open Monday to Friday, from 10am-4pm.

Councillor Martin Carter, cabinet member for planning and transport, said: “Having lived my whole life in Slough I have a great passion for our town, its people and its success.

“It’s no secret our town centre requires improvement and we’re already working hard to better the environment for residents and visitors ahead of future major regeneration.

“We want Slough to be a vibrant, attractive place where people choose to live, work and stay. I encourage residents to make their views known so we can make informed decisions about our town centre, based on the needs of the people who use it.”

Residents who complete the Town Centre survey automatically go into a draw to win four tickets to this year’s pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, at The Curve.

The survey closes on Sunday 2 December. All responses will be treated confidentially.
